Yes, a trip like this is not for everybody, but I won't tell anything. Just come and discover for yourselves, after all we are travellers, not tourists :mrgreen:. Back in comfy Lhasa after 4-day, 1400km roundtrip to Everest Base Camp, inclusive of 200km of very bad rocky road.

The night we checked in at Base Camp at 5200m, temp plummeted to -12C (it was a warmish -1C inside our yak-poo-heated tent), and diesel in our vehicle froze.

80km to the peak by ground (for climbers), but as the crow flies, only 20km from here.

That's 8844.43m above sea level, and growing. Kinabalu's Low's Peak is 4095m.
