i am surprised that u guys gps battery life can last so long.

this remind me on my trip to Hokkaido in 2008. I also curi my OR300 onboard and managed to capture the trip log (Tokyo -> Kushiro Airport)

To me GPS device is quite safe as it is a receiver and probably transmit very little power. Also at that time, there was no restriction also to bring GPS onboard

Hardware does logging only... with only SMT LEDs as output, no display, no buzzer!

My 60Csx can't get signal from LCCT to Kuching and LCCT to Kota Kinabalu. Bothways.

I can get both nuvi & 60CSx logged on to the signal during my flight from KL to Beijing, I'm sitting near the window.

Yeah, I experimented a few times already. Must sit near window. If sit in centre row, never managed to get Satelite lock.
