Garmin StreetPilot for iPhone

Edit /etc/hosts and insert the below, works for me:

successfully installed and launch the Garmin app, but when I search jalan bakti, it just quit the app automatically...

I am an iphone newbie. I too having the same problem. Can search using POI, Junction, Coordinates etc but when search using Address Garmin App blanks and goes to iphone menu (Garmin App still runs in the background).

Any help in this is highly appreciated. I still like Garmin better despite manage to install Papago Pro

Ok, I figure it out.
U will either need to add malsingmap or garmin official NT map into the iPhone.
Then you are now able to search without quitting the app.

Tips to search on address is...

U will need to type the full address like below
(No)25 (address)jalan Bakti 63

Final step is "DON'T" tab on the preview address' tab the "NEXT" button

Thanks a lot for the advise. Got it to work on malsing's map without problem. I would not have thought of this map as I always use malfreemaps. Anyway does this means that malfreemap will not work? Have anyone manage to use malfreemap with sucess?

mean all at front xxxx.garmin.com also can bypass

Huh! I finally managed to produce map with custom icons, not too sure how i managed to produce it and more likes trying all sort of combinations when generating the map.

Thanks to djthormented for giving me a hope!!!

the zoom level did show some differences as well... this is the same map, just zooming at different level...

I wonder hot to make those poi icons bigger? very small lahh.. cant c...
sometimes when zoom in the poi icons will disappear lerr..
