Bro., Am also a X5 user but could not understand what u mean by the above statement "just type.......geodetic system". Could you kindly help out by giving a bit more details i.e. a step by step tutorials for newbees user like me.

Thks in advance.

The X5 for Android is a barebones GPS software with very limited features; it cannot find by coordinates. Without MFM maps and POIs, X5 is not worth having in our part of the world.

How to add custom POI for Papago X5 on HTC desire HD?

Postby naxion » Fri Feb 04, 2011 8:33 pm

I just install Papago X5 with MFM map. But I can't add my personal POI using coordinate. Can someone guide me how to add custom POI to the map.

Thank you in advance...!!!

You can't do it by coords. To add your own POIs to My List, on Map View, point and press where the POI is located, select Function, select Add to Favourite.

thx jchong for the info. I know I can do that but is too difficult to go to the map and find the place I want special is not listed in the POI. I am looking for a way to edit the files to add my personal POI. Any idea, how to do that? For example, add my house location.

Indeed I am also bothered by this strange but annoying "phenomena" when using my X5.

Can any Brother out there offer any insight and perhaps solution to this problem, if indeed this is a problem !!
