Thx.

The HTC One X has a screen resolution of 1280x720. Since there is no exact match on resolutions supported by Papago M9, presumably there won't be a full screen map.

M9 you mean?
M9 have force closure issue till now yet to be resolve, if I'm not mistaken.
Another thing to note is the license is tie to phone not owner, this means if you change phone you need to buy another Papago M9.

Got my copy of M9 from M3Asia (S) today - a CD Rom and a 1 page installation instructions. Installation is straightforward. There are 3 maps - Thai, Indonesia, and Mal_Sin and 3 sets of authorisation codes were provided with online registration. Ran it up on my Galaxy S3 and I got full screen; looks like this latest copy of M9 is suitable for 720x1280 resolution. All looking good although the Mal_Sin map is very old - shown as 5-7-11 (MFM-PPG-110403C). I will update it to the latest Jun 2012 map and give it a test run tomorrow.

Edit: included MFM map info

M9 with the latest MFM map works fine on my Galaxy S3. Both junction view and lane assist work. Graphics are very nice; if only postal code is also available for Spore! M9 is similar to earlier X5 and M8 - simple and with a 1 page menu for settings. In the past, I have had navigation errors with Papago; hopefully the algorithms are much improved in this M9 version.

Personally I feel M9 should be priced below S$20 online (considering MFM maps are free) to attract more users.

I duplicated the closest matching folders (...x1280 and 1280x...) under 'Organic' and 'Organic/EN' folders and renamed them to 720x1280 and 1280x720 respectively. That way papago will be able to locate matching folders for my xperia s resolution.

Since actual graphics was designed larger than 720x1280, you will notice full screen is used with some cropping.

May sound like the obvious, but:

1) Have you got a sat lock?
2) If yes, have you selected "current position" under Function.
3) It should then show exactly where you are located.
