Just need to check with all G60 and M20 users here that whether they have TTS voice in their device. Thanks.

How's the M20 ? A friend of a friend claimed that the battery endurance sucks, and the applications are laggy. Any truth ?

I have been thinking of getting a free upgrade to this phone from M1 :-k

I got it at M1 at S$198 with 2 yrs contract and online purchase.

Everything is slow initially when running with Mobile 6.1. However, with upgrade to Mobile 6.5. The phone speed is ok. Have not encounter an lag so far after the upgrade.

If you are expecting to use it as a PDA, I will not recommend this phone. Better to get an iphone. I find the battery life ok, similar to other phone. The phone also come with 2 batteries, car charger and car mount. So I dont find the battery endurance as a problem to me.

For using as a GPS, the screen is too small. I dont see any JCV or lane assist, will need to explore further. Downloading MFM map is no problem. GPS also starts up fast. With the small screen, you really need the voice prompt (that's why I am still working on the TTS), as the street name is too small for you to view when mounting on the vehicle. Presently, it only speak "in 200m turn right".

As a phone, no complain so far.

The Garmin Asus NuviPhones are more of a GPS with a Phone rather then a Phone with a GPS :-'

Its strengths is the GPS features/functions, not the Phone.

Someone tweeted that Garmin-Asus will have an Android phone called A50. Don't know how true it is, and if it's true, how soon. You know how "swift" Garmin-Asus is in getting a product out to market once they have announced it...

Still no software update since the October 2009 (Garmin-Asus G60-2.39). I'm still waiting for the update to correct the Search >> Extras option. 9 out of 10 times, selecting 'Extras' will give 'No Extras loaded. Go to http://www.garmin.com/extras.'

BTW, anyone knows whether the tracklog Easter Egg is available for the G60?
