Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian

ok....acctually my first installation was 5.00.50. it have same problem then i upgraded to 5.00.60. Anyhow, i will reinstall it by end of the day if no suggestion from other members. Do you have any ideal, how to uninstall the files? Delete the Garmin folder in my SD card will do?

and download the program :

Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian S60 3rd Edition, Ver. 5.00.50, as of Apr 15, 2009

and additional software :

Garmin Mobile XT Free Basemap, Ver. 4.xx.xx, as of Apr 19, 2007
Garmin Mobile XT Support Files, Ver. 4.xx.xx, as of Jul 11, 2007

The Garmin XT is about USD 99.00, for the licence key.. this you have to check with them.

Kindly help me by telling me steps steps how to install Garmin Mobile XT in my Nokia N86. Btw can Nokia N86 support Garmin Mobile XT. I actually have downloaded more than 10 Garmin Mobile XT softwares and Malaysia maps.

I even had installed successfully but somehow after loading it first time succefully, other times once i start the software, it will go into the main screen then just pop out back. At the first time it seems that it cant detect GPS device. I have uninstall and install more than 10 times the same thing happened. I have uploaded Malaysia map using methods from viewtopic.php?f=23&t=893, it was successfull but the software seems cant detect it.

Can anyone kind enough to help me by guiding me step by step how to install the software then how to upload malaysia map.

I believe you have not getting a register Garmin Mobile XT, Do you get the GMXT from Garmin Website with purchase from there?

If you purchase from Garmin, you should able to run it successfully without any issue. IF still unsure of how to install kindly head to our Library section - HERE

I have installed all this files in memory card (Nokia N70)
1. v4.xx.xxx Support File,
2. v4.xx.xxx Basemap File
3. GMXT v5.xx.xx

When i Go to phone’s File Manager and find GarminMobileXT.sis at the root directory and trying to install the .sis. the message showed file corrupted. what that means. anyone can help me. thank you

Hi, all the sifus and masters here
I have been using Garmin XT for around 2 years and i noticed that
sometimes GPS will show u the longer route though the setting is to
show the shortest route available.
A lot of my frens also commented regarding this.
Any help regarding this problem?
