Re: OVI MAP NOT UP TO DATE!!
Given up on OVi map long ago...MFM is the best.

Re: OVI MAP NOT UP TO DATE!!
I am not surprised. For a country like Malaysia, the locals will be the best to update the latest on a navigational map. That is the advantage of MFM over commercial map makers. I do not think commercial map makers would be interested in mapping kampungs, villages or Felda schemes if the demand for the purchase of the maps is low.
It is frustrating to see maps with gaps when you are on the road and you see many roads that are not in the map. So MFM is the best. Have not seen any other self-made map that is as detailed anywhere.

Re: OVI MAP NOT UP TO DATE!!
Fully agree. The main reason to use a PND is to navigate, and I don't see what use is a PND if the map is not updated.
I always see people asking... "which GPS device to get", "which is the best", etc.
The correct questions to ask are..."which map is the best", "which device is supported by MFM", etc.
