remove the assisted gps setting in ur phone. use only integrated gps.

How to do that? Can help me with guides

Bro xiallim90, you were given good advise.

It is your cell-phone and you need to read the manual or call your telco / phone manufacturer service for help on how to disable the assisted AGPS feature.

I'm sorry for not noticing it was a good advice.
I'm still new in this GPS things and dont really know about all this things

xiaolim,

It depends what phone you're using

I'm using Nokia X6, therefore my settings are

Settings >> Apps >> Location >> Positioning >> Positioning Methods >> Turn off Assisted GPS / A-GPS

Hope this helps =)

i also face the same problem... :ko:

update to 5.00.60 version instead of 5.00.50. On my N8 also same issue but once updated to 5.00.60 it is settled and works fine.

My advice is,
STICK to your 5.00.50
It has less problem than 5.00.60.
5.00.60 hangs a lot. Always get freeze... Very problematic!

Re: New Nokia N8 very good interface for Garmin

Postby navigator » Wed Jan 26, 2011 7:10 am

Just install on my new n8! really good fast gps lock and accurate...faster screen refresh and when browsing map it did not crash...overall best platform for garmin symbian yet too bad garmin no longer support symbian...for those of you that still love symbian get the n8+garmin=
