I installed GMXT in my storage. Maps and POIs all in Omnia my storage. No problem.
Where u install your GMXT? If at storage card, then I will suggestet you removed the GMXT. Do a fresh installation. Unzip and copy the attached sw.zip into Omnia my storage\Garmin folder. Sure worked and enjoy.

you can try to create Garmin\POI folder in Omnia's my storage. Then copy through GPS data here. Also maps data into my storage\Garmin folder. It should for you.

Hello all,

Been using GMXT for quite sometime but now wishes to contribute new tracks. Knowing that GMXT alone will not be so accurate, I heard that some use GPSProxy simultaneously for more accuracy.

1. May I know how many of u using GPSProxy?any advice on how to use it? note that I haven't installed one yet.

2. I'm using MapKing as well along with Port Splitter 1.1..will there be any conflict if I install Gpsproxy because it functions the same way like the Port splitter?

thanks

thank you for the info. it work for me. been testing for couple of days.
somehow, the speed indicated on GPS is about 6 km/h slower then the actual speed of vehicle.
also, location indicated on GPS is about 60 m difference from the real location of vehicle. :)
