hw to load map dat i dwnloaded? i got it frm Free Download,under malaysia map frm bro LiteSpeed..i downloaded d ready to use 1..i put d file in garmin folder edi..so hw to load it??

use Mobile XT on E71 make me quite ..zoom in & zoom out very hard to do..must press shift everytime to use key '1' & '3'..

i juz bought e71.. and the easy way to zoom in/out, etc.. is by pressing the 'function' key (bottom left, beside shift key) twice, and then u can press the number buttons easily (1 to zoom out, 3 to zoom in, etc).. it soft of locks the 'function' key in place so that u dun nd 2 press it again n again..

hello guys, im planning to get nokia E71, my question is this, can E71 use papago x3 to run the gps? cause i hv 1 gps running papagox3 and get used to it d. not sure whether change to garmin will give me problem or not, as to re learn hw to use it >< hope to hear all the senior information . if nokia e71 can run papago x3, im planning to sell of my gps d .

I am new to this forum and also a noob to this Garmin XT.

I already have the Garmin Xt on my E71.

just wanna know, what are the best setting for GARMIN XT in E71?
mine -i used ,integrated GPS only.
(menu-->tools--->setting-->general--->positioning method---> integrated GPS )


is it true , if i enable A-GPS i'll kena charge a few cents...??

okie laddies & gentleman,

first of all,til today i have test out the "bug free" way to run smooth using garmin under my e72.i just write down my final setting under my garmin & my stupid way to did it step by step,hope those "e72 fans" can used it smoothly,

1)i used 100301 lite maps to put inside my garmin folder,then used mapsource to read it,then only select west malaysia maps install back to my e72(i try to trim up my map size)
p/s:for my [stxpid]e72,as tested...most stable,bcoz other map sometime feel laggy even is lite version.

2)A-gps sellected (Celcom)

3)tools>setting>map>map detail>less

4)tools>setting>map>orientation>north up (p/s:must north up)

5)tools>setting>map>map features>my locations>small label

6)tools>setting>map>map features>poi>no label

7)tools>setting>proximity point>disable all

8)tools>setting>routing>avoidance setup>tick unpaved road

9)tools>manage my data>custom poi set>kosong (p/s:delete all my poi under the garmin file)

10)during navi,normally i set to 200m view,i did try to press 1 or sometime press 3....it will hang or kick out the program.

p/s: the rest of the setting that i didn't mention,just disable or set it "off"
