Navfone West Malaysia GPS

Postby surefire888 » Fri Jul 01, 2011 8:54 pm

Has anyone tried the Navfone West Malaysia app? Seems reasonably priced at S$6.99.

I have the Navfone SG app which is given free for Samsung Galaxy Tab/S owners. A bit basic and maps not as nice as Sygic but seems to work ok. Just wondering what the coverage and depth of detail is like for the Malaysian map.

NavFone for Android (Samsung App)

Postby jchoong » Wed Jan 18, 2012 6:50 pm

NavFone by Agis is quite a good GPS app for Android based Samsung smartphones. The map is Singapore only; you can download and install from Samsung Apps. Search and Navigation is quite basic; good thing is that it can also search by postal codes.

Edit: I forgot to mention - its Free

to add on, should search for SG GPS for this free app (not AGIS, Navfone or whatever will yield with no result)

I tried it briefly today. Its VG for a Free GPS software. Several nice features - postal codes search, ERP, speed cameras. Routing is good, altho my route today has a minor error. A negative - my position was not locked to the road I was on; out by quite a lot actually.
