I been using it for 4 months now.
Many area are still empty, I used it to check traffic info only.

My rank was 600 last months. (Waze Warrior)

Tuah, it can be use with or without 3g, without 3g no live update. Precache map with wifi. Currently I am in Tarakan, Indonesia, no 3g here for me it still work. Precache at any wifi and you are set.

Ya, that's why I use it to check Traffic info, police road block and Accident only. After checking, I turn it off.

Alyem, I find it hard to believe you turn it off after checking traffic info. Because you said your rank is 600.

That need some real serious usage.

3G??? i thought using gps #-o
just using 2-3 times for traffic info (iphone4).. and also contribute some traffic and hazard info :thumbsup:

The 3g is for live interaction only, no 3g wifi is good and gps is as any navigation device, its a must.

No 3G totally rely on GPS, precache map and wifi. As you can see from the snapshot my phone is on airplane mode. I don't want it to log on into global roaming.

You cannot navigate without internet because the map is downloaded as and when needed. Like Bro Alyem said, the Live informations is excellence. I guess precache means one have to exactly follow its route or else you with have a waze opening page only without the route map.

how to do the map caching? Just downloaded the Android app to try it out..Easy community report and update will really help to speed thing up..
