M11 do not require any organic files, any resolution is supported. It's running perfectly on my HTC One(M7). =D>

My experience with M11 - when there is an official Papago SG/MY update, you don't get any update notification from Google PlayStore. The only way to get the updated map is to reinstall M11. Seems strange.

I live in Singapore and uses postal code for searching addresses. M11, as installed, contains the map "SLA Singapore 20130415". This map contains the complete Singapore postal codes.

I downloaded MFM's Papago X8.5 latest MFM-PPG-X8.5-X9-130605 and placed it in the Map folder of M11, and can use this MFM map when selected (the SLA map is not selected). However this MFM map's postal code is incomplete (I cannot find my residence block; whereas it can be found in SLA map).

So, the question is: how do I replace the map files that are in the SLA version, with the latest MFM X8.5 - so that I can have the latest SG/MY map with the full postal code of Singapore? I tried to copy and replace all the MFM X8,5 map files into the SLA folder, but this doesn't work.

Papago M11 Track Recorder

Postby james890526 » Sat Jun 29, 2013 2:10 pm

Hi mappers,

I'm a new user to Papago and am using Papago M11 SG&MY now. :peace:
Not sure if the feature is available, but I want to contribute to MFM so that we can all have better and updated maps.
Is there any track recording options in Papago M11? I don't want to purposely buy another GPS system just to do this kind of thing :ko:

@jchoong, MFM-PPG-X8.5-X9-130605 should have SG maps also. You shouldn't delete the SLA version as you can actually use it back if you find it more complete. Or you might want to change from postal code search to road search or something. I'm also new to M11 :peace:

I am not sure how often M11 refreshes its maps; maybe every 3 months? In the case of MFM, the Papago version gets updated monthly. So, obviously I want to use the latest maps. In the previous Papago version, i.e. M9, one could easily replace the original M9 maps with the latest MFM maps, by copying over the files (to replace the old ones). Unfortunately in M11, this cannot be done.

In other words, I want to use the additional features of the original M11 maps, i.e. full Postal Codes + Junction View, together with the latest MFM maps. So, how to combine the 2 sets of files to get what I want? I wrote and asked Papago, but they told me it cannot be done.

Hello and Salam to all and Selamat Hari Raya

It seem very few of us here is using Papago M11, I saw mostly using X9 or the latter, maybe because its relatively new. Me myself just got it a month ago.

Anyway I would like to ask, any of you guys had experienced the M11 crash at specific location ?

In my case the software keep on crashing when I on SILK Highway toward Seri Kembangan near UPM area, and at Seri Kembangan near South City Plaza.

I thought it was a random act (as seen on Play Store comments) but noticed it after several time driving on those areas, it just crash at that very locations. Btw I'm using MFM maps (update every new release)

thanks for any inputs :D
