You would need the (A) Custom MFM-PPG-110403C version. Upon installation, choose the 'Papago X5 for Android' version for your Android. Copy/Move all the extracted files into the 'Malaysia' folder on SD card: /sdcard/NaviSEA/Maps/Malaysia.

The directories were auto-created during installation on my A10.

Android version of Papago X5

Postby de5park » Sun Apr 10, 2011 7:24 am

I'm using the Android version of Papago X5, and I'm being prompted for the registration code even though I selected the MFM 101201.

Anybody can help me to find the papago lregistration code?

mfm maps do not require any registration or unlock codes. This code request could be by the X5 app, not by the map.

You have to buy Papago x5 license to enter the reg code. You can however use the Trial version for a few days. MfM maps does not require any code.... Hope this helps... cheers!

Changing our android PAPAGO X5 stock navigation sound

Postby Ninjaboyz » Mon Apr 25, 2011 4:27 am

Well a real hardwork, maybe somebody might be interested!
Here are my experiment:
1. Backup first file named StartUp.gwv found in your SD:\NaviSEA\Sounds (if you might want it later)
2. Replace StartUp.gwv with this.
3. Open your X5 and, walla new start-up sound.

Let me know if it working or not.
This can be done with other voice and sound files, next thing is find someone with nice and clear voice, record it and we got better voice navigation. We need it especially to replace Malay guidance voice. :rox:

Edit:

Here is better female Malay sound replacement for Android Papago X5 and maybe other versions, let me know if it works or not..

Installation:
1.Download this.
2.Extract and replace file VoiceMY in your sdcard/NaviSEA/sounds
3.Enjoy..

EDIT 31.5.2012:

Best so far, Male voice. Fix overlapping issues.

Installation:
1.Download this.
2.Extract and replace file VoiceMY in your sdcard/NaviSEA/sounds
3.Enjoy..

You can get Papago X5 from M3GPS, here: http://www.m3shoppe.com/index.php?optio ... oduct_name. They have ones for the Galaxy Tab and S.

Running GPS on the phone does not affect your phone bill, unless you evoke the Assisted GPS (AGPS) to get the initial (faster) satellite lock.
