Hi guys, I'm new here.
I bought a HTC a month back and the retailer installed Papago X5 for me. It worked fine.

But I had to reset my device to factory default but I did copy out the folder 'Navi'.

Problem is now, the software runs but it's not locating the satellite at all.

Any idea? Much appreciated.

Anyone has tried installing Papago X5 on a Motorola Dext phone, running Android OS version 1.5 (Cupcake)? Does it work?

I'm considering buying an Android phone (currently I'm using Windows Mobile phone) and this Motorola Dext is quite cheap and has slide-out keyboard, which I want. However, I want to ensure that I can navigate using MFM map.

Any comments is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Best Android phone, which can run Papago and MFM?

Postby indrapr » Sun Apr 18, 2010 10:19 pm

Dear all,

I am going to ditch my Windows Mobile-based Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 and is heavily considering an Android phone. Understand that Papago X5 or M6 can run on Android phones (depends on the Android OS version, please CMIIW) and we can use MFM map on Papago.

Anyone can recommend any Android-based phone for me to consider? Some considerations:

- Have to be able to run Papago application and use MFM-Papago map (of course!)
- Equipped with a fast and stable Android OS (any OS version is OK although the later the version, the better)
- If possible, have slide-out keyboard similar to my current Xperia X1, but not really a must-have requirement.
- Not really expensive like the new Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 (very overpriced, IMHO).

I was previously considering Motorola Dext since the slide-out keyboard is very comfortable to use, but I heard that it's not really a good phone.

Any recommendations and feedbacks are welcome. :)

Many thanks in advance.

We are sorry, the current Papago! X5 Mobile version that selling is only compatible with Windows Mobiles and Android 1.5. And HTC Legend is using Android 2.1. However, there will be an updates available which can be installed into mobile/PDA that running Android 2.1 OS. We will announce in on our website when it available.

For HTC phone, you need to download the standard version only, and not the custom version. :tq:

Hi, just wondering what is the standard version?
