hello bro, how to update E72 to latest firmware? really appreciate if u can teach me :)


open website www.nokia.com.my. download ovi suite. install in your pc. run ovi in your pc. go to Tools/software updates. follow the instructions. make sure to fully charge your battery before run the software update. otherwise the ovi will not update the firmware.

that is a common procedure. do not off your handphone. or else you will lose all the data. at one critical point, you cant on your hp at all.

i got fed up downloading the updates, took about 6 hours and up to 2000MB downloaded updates and it still downloading. seems like no ending :fire:, anyone here has successfully updates to the latest firmware for E72? what are the updates size? thanks for helping

Can anyone please teach me how to install this into my nokia e72?

Hiye...first of all you have to update Nokia firmware...then...email me for the rest of the instruction...i have the solution..emmeett@yahoo.com

Need help,

after i update my firmware, the Garmin Xt work perfectly on my E72, but all my Chinese language pack has gone.
how can i install back the chinese pack. please help.

Actually, the firmware update can be done OTA(Over The Air), i.e. done on the phone itself without hooking it up to the PC. The latest working firmware version can be installed when you first start-up your brand-spanking new E72 before any personal data or software is installed into it. No worries.
