Yes, but the Assisted-GPS (A-GPS) data is received from the network's data connection. With A-GPS enabled, you'll get GPS fix faster. You can however turn off this feature at Tools > Settings > General > Positioning > Positioning Methods.

i can't access the menu as listed above.

from garmin main page i can choose TOOLS > SETTINGS > SYSTEM > REMOTE GPS, when i choose disable, i can choose between USE BLUETOOTH GPS or USE ATTACHED / BUILT IN GPS only

i choose the latter one, USE ATTACHED / BUILT IN GPS, but under my GPS information screen, it displays my unit id: number and below it shows Assisted GPS :-?

The menu I'm referring to is the Nokia phone's menu, not GMXT. :mrgreen:

The map will hang when zooming... :fire:
Can we use garmin mobile xt 500.20? :|
Ive got garmin mobile xt 500.50, can it be used in 5800..? ](*,)

5.00.20 didn't fully support 5800, only 5.00.30 upward support 5800 touch screen input
