By activate "Assisted GPS" should speed up GPS lock.

GMXT N95 8GB

Postby ykhean » Wed Oct 29, 2008 11:33 am

Have anyone experience while nagivating, GMXT (v5) just shuts down. I have to reopen it but funny thing is the route is still active? Sometimes, the device cannot get a lock at all the whole day? Having said this,

a) Do I need to reinstall the program?
b) Will window tinting affect the reception?
c) In N95, they have an integrated GPS & assisted GPS? Is there any preference over the other? I tried both but it seems the same.

Thanks.
New to GPS but eagar to learn more..!!

IMHO, stick with V4.20.20 for the time being. V5 is not stable yet, wait for the next update and try again.
