Bro tsechien,

If you feel strongly about contributing only to MFM and is unhappy about MSM making use of your contribution without consent and credit, why not just post your opinion at MSM forum and demand that they remove those part contributed by you? There is nothing to lose. The worse you can get is your post getting deleted and your account getting banned and you being accused of being a mafia or mat rempit :tease:

Never mind lah, after newbies see how complicated it is just to obtain a map, half or more of them will give up and come here right away and the rest will post newbie questions before finally giving up anyway.

Even a seasoned user like me got lost in their latest set of instructions of obtaining unlock codes from Garmin and downloading the updates - I admittedly finally gave up and resorted to bittorrent a cracked copy hehehehehehe

nt really comfortable for msm to copy our contributes.. as big G gets the updates and awards msm..
if msn dont get anything from big g for their contribution stolen from mfm, i have no issues..

SHAME ON YOU MSM.. [-X [-X [-X

this is what you get for locking your maps..

No, it's not copying gdb file from member contribution - at least base on my case.

submitted these 2 POI on Jan 18 viewtopic.php?f=26&t=971&p=17083#p17083
Petronas Station : N5 21.049 E100 27.190
Honda : N5 21.037 E100 27.648

Made a correction on Mar 13 viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1645&p=25021#p25021
(change from Petronas to Caltex - which is still not yet open as of today :) )

and the correct POI (Honda and Caltex ) were included on V3.0x beta. So, it is not from gdb file, else they will show Petronas instead of Caltex.

Anyway, I don't bother/plan to pursue this any further actions.

Locking maps also mean to hide secrets/bad things/malpractices.

One way is to submit the tracks in a passworded zip file. You can agree with the mapper what your password is beforehand.
