Any reason for that? :-k

If you draw and show building only, then the space between building and road will look odd. Usually, I would prefer to show the whole compound at least so that the map will look more regular.

Attached the example of Columbia Asia Hospital at Puchong for your reference. :)

So you mean at least draw compound, even better if the buildings are drawn too. I support. :peace:

Agreed. If the building is big and compound is small. Draw the whole compound area with 0x0024 looks better.

bro antyong,
There are a few polygon types look rather bright in night mode. At times it is too glaring while driving in the night time. Example Scrub (0x4f), Rubber Plantation (0x56), Golf course (0x18), Grassy Area (0x54), Institution of Learning (0xa), Green compound (0x1b), Cemetery (0x1a), Major river (>1 km) (0x46) , etc. Is it possible to change to a dimmer colors? :)

Sure, propose the right color to me :) You can ask for bro Doraemon's help. He did all the night colors.

Hi guys,

Got a problem with overlapping polygons.
I've stopped doing this golf course project for one year now due to this problem.

What I drawn, as seen on the attached MP picture.
What came out after compilation is the IMG picture.

Can somebody check the MP file and see if it works out?

try this
your map property > map level

Level 0 should set to 24 instead of 21.
lat grip will from 19m reduce to 2.4m
after compilation, you polygon won't be much different

Have been playing around with polygon over the last few days, and seeing how other mappers do. Had a few questions on polygon for houses/residential area

1. 2 rows of back to back terrace/link houses, with back lane in between
- one large polygon covering both rows or 2 seperate polygon?
2. 2 rows of side by side terrace/link houses, with side lane in between
- one long polygon covering both rows or 2 seperate polygon?
3. Row of Semi detached houses
- one small polygon for each block (i.e. 2 houses), or one large polygon covering the whole row?

I'm seeing all the 6 ways of drawing polygon mentioned above, not sure which is the preferred method, and not sure if more polygon (eg 10 small polygon for 20 semi-D houses vs 1 large polygon covering all 20 semi-D houses in a row) have any significant impacts to map refresh rate / lagging issue.
