i think msm had get their officially compiler.. then why we're not?
why still using "obsolete" cgpsmap third party compiler????

if we want JV, it's big question to me :-? :-?

Is not we don't ask, it is because Garmin don't want to give.

Garmin did approched MFM for map data, but they refused to provide the compiler. They want to compile the map themselves instead and the up-date release will be decided by them. That why MFM did not venture into that any further.

Even at MSM, the compiler was not given to MSM but MSM only provide the map data to be compiled by Garmin, hence, MSM NT is release every Q whereas MSM cgpsmap is release on weekly basis.

Why are you saying cgpsmapper is obsolete? Just becouse it can not compile map with JV does not make it obsolete. Unless if we are still using compiler that produce map that can make "recalculation" as fast as now. I belive that the current version of cgpsmapper is up to date.

i say "obsolete" in the Quotes.. i mean it's not "really" obsolete as in the truest sense :D only not as complete as garmin compiler
.. but I understand that we are indeed the most complete map rather than our "competitor"
