Can you write a brief guide how to upload the maps into the Magellan device?

Also, if you need source data to create your next version, please contact me. TQ

Well, this is quite easy. Copy the *.imi to the SD card...done

As for the source, I can easily extract it out if the *.img file. But what would really help is a mapping table, what types you are using for what objects. Do you have a description somewhere?

What I forgot to mention is. This map does not support routing. It is a topo map only.

Can the pre-installed map came with Magellan able to support routing, or also just topo map only?

I got a Magellan Sportrak Map with only 6MB Free internal memory, it only comes with a serial cable and without software.
Is that any way I could get a small size map?
And how can I put it into my GPS?

OK. I got the software from here (http://www.msh-tools.com/download.html)
Now, where can I get the Magellan in SMALL (<6MB) size?

well you need to do a lot more work to get there. all the roads got to be re-shapped to get the sportrak to read. i converted a malsing map before and it will work. just again no routing. not sure if they ever figured out the routing part of the software as that come much later in the development of the mapping :) i'm 3 years outdated on the conversion. now use my phone for gps.

have fun. will like to know if there is an easier way to convert as i still have my sportrak pro.

what sockeye has i don't think i can use on the sportrak. for my sportrak i have to transfer via the mapsend software and serial port into the internal 22MB pr 32MB. if i'm not wrong i was working with .img also. but different format from garmin.

I Magellan RoadMate GPS unit with US base map. Unfortunately Magellan doesn't support RoadMate with other maps, for e.g Southeast Asia map. Nonetheless to say other region map.

Is there anyway I can get on hold to Southeast Asia map compatible with Magellan RoadMate? I literally mean if there are option for user to make the map?
