TO ALL MXT SYMBIAN USERS
If you are so envious of nuvi users that their device able to display a nice MFM startup screen which designed by Bro sulphur, then this post is for you.
Actually MXT Symbian also support the startup screen feature like nuvi and the display format is in video clip instead of still image. How to make this startup video works in your MXT? The steps are very simple, just create a short video clip in the format of 3gp with the display size same as your phone screen size. Save this file in the folder [SD]:\Garmin\ and name it as Intro.3gp. This video file will be played every time you run MXT.
Bro sulphur has been very kind to design a MFM banner for MXT Symbian in the size of 240(W) x 320(H). Based on his design, I have prepared 5 video clips, 5 seconds duration each in 3gp format as follows:
If you like these video clips and want it to be startup screen in your MXT, then please try the below steps:
1) Download and unzip mfm.rar which consists of 5 3gp files.
2) Copy one of the 3gp files and save it in the folder [SD]:\Garmin\.
3) Rename the 3gp file as Intro.3gp.
4) Run MXT.
