Polygon do look made the map look good.. but.. 
on the other hand, it also made the GPS lagging...
My advice is to draw polygon at Landmark area like >>>
1- Hospitals
2- Police Stations
3- Football fields
4- Shopping area / Shops
5- Rivers
6-
7-
