My GPSmap 60CSx

Img name which acceptable by Build in memory are:
gmapbmap, gmapprom, gmapprom1,gmapoem and gmapsupp.
Img name which acceptable by External memory are:
gmapsupp.
Since 60CSx build in memory which unable to edit, it is read only memory which store Basemap v4.0 by Garmin.
Thus,
60CSx only accept img name gmapsupp which store at microSD™ card
but gmapsup2 invalid.

Since you unable to edit 60CSx built-in memory, then how you know it can support gmapbmap, gmapprom, gmapprom1,gmapoem and gmapsupp. :-? :-?

Before I owned my GPSmap 60CSx, I have 2 sets of Nuvi 200w.
Use Nuvi Testing on different name of Img, found that gmapbmap, gmapprom, gmapprom1, can view the map only if store it into build in memory, if you store it into your External memory card, the above name of img totally not support.
somemore there has some condition if you use gmapprom and gmapprom1 together in your build in memory.
This is just my previously testing experience.
If not believe, just ignore my post. Thanks.

Bro WeiQi00, what img files can be supported by Garmin devices are depending on the series of device and firmware version. This is why Bro antyong raised his 1st request here to ask for the member’s exploration and feedbacks on their devices.

Hi Bro WeiQi00, yes, your are right, in your 1st post stated clearly that 60CSx only accept gmapsupp.img in SD card,
but… as for the built-in memory, this is what you have stated

"Img name which acceptable by Build in memory are :gmapbmap, gmapprom, gmapprom1,gmapoem and gmapsupp.
Img name which acceptable by External memory are : gmapsupp.
Since 60CSx build in memory which unable to edit, it is read only memory which store Basemap v4.0 by Garmin."

1st sentence said supported file names are : gmapbmap, gmapprom, gmapprom1,gmapoem and gmapsupp (5 files); and
3rd sentence said only basemap (I believe you are referring to gmapbmap.img) accepted.
A bit confuse, just want to clarify. No hard feeling. :D

I am apolosize that my post make all of yours confusing.
Sorry for my poor english.
I think I should look for other Chinese forum.

[For What I am understanding
Img name which acceptable by Build in memory are:
gmapbmap, gmapprom, gmapprom1,gmapoem and gmapsupp.
Img name which acceptable by External memory are:
gmapsupp.]

To be Volunteer Tester,
Today I test on my 60CSx
Since 60CSx build in memory which unable to edit, it is read only memory which originally store a Basemap v4.0 by Garmin.
Thus,
60CSx only accept img name gmapsupp which store at microSD™ card
but gmapsup2 invalid.
