FREE MFM-Papago X8.5 Map 111103 - Feedback

Papago X8 can't use X8.5 map. you can use the extended release (URL below). The Papago X8.5 also giving a lot of problems to me. So, it is not only you are facing the problems. The X8.5 is very buggy.

Can X8 version use this map? Went for upgrade to X8.5 last 2 months ago but system keep hanging when in navigation mode. M3GPS reloaded X8 into my PNG. Still facing the same problem......is it only my png or software not stable yet?

There are 3 observations:
Refer to the attached map of Seberang Jaya, Penang. Traveling from North going to point RED dot. The GREEN path was suggested by GPS. Upon reaching point BLUE dot, the voice navigation instructed to take minor road (which was proper), but once reached point X, a recalculation was prompt and the path changed to RED path; going all the way South and and took the "8" turn before going back North to destination.
Reconfirmed, same thing happened the next day. Loaded the October map, no such problem.

Again, I think the compiler is not compiling properly. As mentioned before, most rivers along the highway are not drawn. Most obvious is the major river which is the border between Penang and Kedah state, I can see river on the right side (traveling North); but no continuation of river on the left side.

I'm not sure if this was a bug or not, but at certain part of the map, the selected path was colored bright green, but most of the part was colored blue. I haven't notice when but it changed along the way somewhere. Anyone saw this behavior?

While travel to North from Ipoh, instead of taking the groud lever raod (Green route), it detour to take Chemor exit which is a fly over with traffic light in between.

Driving from Gunung Rapat area towards Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun (Kampar Road), is best to take the fly over rather then ground level road with have traffic light in between. Plese refer to attached gdb. Red route is Ground level road.

Just updated to this latest version. Just now when travelling from Gerik to Baling thru' the Baling-Gerik Highway, PAPAGO keep recalculating and ask to reroute thru' Pengkalan Hulu to Baling which is a longer route. Dear mappers, please check why? I felt like the Baling-Gerik Highway is broken (not link) somewhere. Sorry I do not have a mapsource to show it. TQ.

By the way I'm using PPG version : M3GPS_Q5033 – X8.5

I was using the Eastgear X3 papago, Can I use the Papago X8.5 to update my GPS ?
What is the difference between X3 and X8 ?
