PPG WM does not support speed camera alert.

Dear Papago team,

[Papago R5800 + X3 + 101104C map]

MFM-Papago map currently has serious routing problems, making my PND untrustable. Besides those that I highlighted awhile back (regarding routing into exit roads and re-joining MRR2 instead of using MRR2 main road), here is another example of bad routing:

-> route from KL to Sungai Udang, Melaka -- the routing results suggest to prematurely exit at Pedas Linggi Toll (PLUS), and use a lot of trunk roads to reach Sungai Udang. Note that I'm NOT using "shortest distance", but using "recommended route". The more driver-friendly (and petrol-effective) route should exit at Simpang Ampat Toll (PLUS) and then use a lesser amount of trunk roads to reach Sungai Udang (this better route is suggested by Google Maps and 100415C by antyong).

Bro sunn will rectify the above issues in next map release. BTW, you need to pay higher toll charges if you exit at Simpang Ampat.

I find that the speed trap alert is up and running for 101104C, which I'm evaluating now.

Bro 76gpsguy, you are right that the toll charges is higher, but then most ppl will prefer to drive a straighter road at 110km/h rather than trunk roads at 70-80km/h (if lucky didn't encounter big lorries). The extra toll charges will be compensated by the reduced fuel consumption when driving highways.

Many many thanks for informing that bro Sunn will rectify this. I am now becoming very paranoid with my PNG device after the bad MRR2 experience. Now I always simulate my route beforehand to double-check, if possible. The problem is, if the route is auto-recalculated ad hoc when on the road, I have no chance to check the simulation. This is where it's making me paranoid!

After bro Sunn rectify this problem, I believe it will give all of us a big jump in confidence with the MFM-Papago map! Then we can move on to solving other issues like POI search problem or platform WM/Android/iPhone problems.

I'm using Papago X3 on Papago R5800.

Using the PPG M7 with the latest map on Iphone 4. The speed trap alerts only blinks(visual alerts) but no sound. Is it suppose to be like that? Unlike the Garmin there are visual and voice alert on the speed traps

Feedback: Hi, I'm using PAPAGO! R6100. I have encountered very serious routing problem, I've tried few of it, it doesn't work in the right way. Routing goes very wrong comparing to my Garmin nuvi 205w. Even if I reset the setting back to factory default, problem remain... I'm not sure whether It needs any special settings or procedure to get it works, but I what can tell MAP101104 for X7 having much more routing error than previous version. Can any1 advice me what to do? Thank you and cheers...

Very Very Lagge.....i has test x5se,x7,x6,x5se 800x480......all lagge and slow simulation!!!

yup. i facing the same lagging issue as yours'. navigation position slow in about 3s. means cursor position only move to the location after i pass that position in 3 sec ago. quite obvious when u already passed the juction and yet cursor still at the back.

other than that is all fine except minor errors.

issue two - routing option 1,2,3 is not fuctioning.

issue three - cant route from sabah to sarawak.

issue four - sound instruction should make it more distinctive. e.g. "at the junction pls turn right and at the junction please turn right and at the junction please turn right " in which the 2nd phrase infact its mean for the the 2nd right turn 3rd for 3rd right turn. quite confusing when in shoplot area with a few short distance of turn.

Nevertheless.. good jobs to those sifu in make this running and keep it up. this is only my comments and complaint...

is a restaurant in bangsar. i only has its address. don't know the langitude altitude all that.
