Hi guys, I need some advise here.

I am planning to visit Malaysia and rent a car to drive around.

I currently have an Iphone 4. I tried copying the data from this Map Beta into the .ipa file for the Papago Msia app and reinstall into my Iphone.

The application itself works and I can see the maps and all (with the traffic lights etc, i assume this indicates its the new map).

However, when i do a Road search or POI, there is nothing coming up in the list.

Just wondering if I am doing something wrong here or this was not intended to be ported over to the Iphone App and I should stick to the older one here viewtopic.php?f=23&t=3184 (this version worked)

what's the different between MFM-Papago Map Beta v1.0 and MFM-Papago 100415 map in terms of map produce?

MFM did produce very first version (as of now is only 1) for QI device.

No update maps is available as of this post time.

This MFM-Papago Map Beta v1.0 was compiled by using a totally new conversion script. It was rewrote by re-established the conversion criteria and settings as we have no previous conversion script for reference. Therefore the routing performance and map contents of this beta version map are expected slight different with the maps released before. However the main features of MFM-PPG map are still remains, i.e.

1. Junction views.
2. Lane assists.
3. 3D Buildings.
4. Shaded intersections.
5. Toll booth alert.
6. Speed limit sign.
7. Speed camera alert.
8. Fast POI search.
9. Custom POI icons.
10. Malaysia highway symbol.

The following are the new features added in this beta version map:
1. New display profile.
2. Traffic light icon.
3. Speed camera icon.

Please note that the following are excluded in this beta version map and will be included in subsequence map release:

1. Singapore postal code.
2. Part of POIs, e.g. HDB block, entertainment, speciality retail, auto rental, & etc.
3. Announce approaching underpass, flyover, bridge, tunnel, parking area and rest area.
4. Custom polygons.
5. South Thailand coverage (Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei coverage only).
6. Iphone, Android, WM & Standard version (M3GPS & Eastgear custom version only).

This successful release by the Team of 4 ( 76gpsguy, Fancheng, Deric Lau & Sunn ) are with the understanding and support by all mappers.

Sorry, I am new here.

I really really tried to search but with no avail.

I have already discard my Navi set and decided to use PDA as a navigator instead. I have purchased the Garmin XT and thought of purchasing Papago for PDA, HTC HD2 WM 6.5.

There is so many version for Papago, which version should I purchase to ensure it is compatible with WM and does Papago has the ability like Garmin XT to install Speed trap warning etc. I heard about Papago has the ability like Igo when entering tunnel will stay "online" (simulation at last speed to the next exit from tunnel) and not like Garmin became totally lost.

My friend told me Papago for PDA or iphone can't install speed warning etc like Garmin XT, is it true?
