hi kuala Krai not effective path... route from butterworth to kuala krai.
using seberang jaya ->by pass kubang sembang toll, by pass lunas yoll -> tana merah -> by pass machang ->kuala krai, the map cannot route from this place to there.. it keep U-turn back go to kuala kurai from taman bagan ->by pass juru toll , bypass IPOH road ,by pass cameron highland road .. to kuala krai

just went on thursday afternoon =/ lucky with garmin unit together. work good, only papago map got problem.

Papago JCV pop-up and pop-out abit too soon.

If I may suggest the timing:

Pop-up: 150m before the junction.
Pop-out: 50m after the junction.

Papago R6300T on X8.5

I made comparison with my Holux 62E on X3:
Q1:
Are latest maps, the X8 map and the Extended maps, share the same source? If so, why does Holux gives more details compares to the Papago with latest software. The Papago did not display and river I passed along highway, but Holux on X3 does. Rivers are important landmarks on rural routes.

Q2:
Referring to image attached, why does X8 chose longer route (red path) from Green Dot to Red Dot even if shortest path option is selected? The X3 on Holux chose green path. Either left or right, the road are same "class" (i.e not jalan vs lorong). This is not random because in my Taman which has almost similar ring path, Papago X8 will choose left even if my house is just 100m to the right compares to probably 400m if take left route.

Is this the "new algorithm" X8 was talking about? The X8 does not seems to be faster in display response compares to my old Holux with Sirf IV. Any idea?

If you look at our map in MapSource, Jalan Bakar Arang 1 (Jalan 1 & Jalan 2 in your Google screenshot, N5.61618 E100.47816) is classified as Principal Highway.

Navigate from Point A (Jalan Raja Dr Nazrin Shah (Jalan Gopeng)) to Point B (Jalan Sultan Iskandar (Hugh Low Road)) will enter into roundbout, by right should take the slip road. (show in yellow).
