reach my destination in kelana jaya but new map say another 300m..some road in kelana suppose to turn right but gps asking me turn left.weird..no problem with previous map

1. June map Extremely great response when searching satelite signal, i don't know what u guys done, but keep maintain this! Very well done! Previously using MAY' version map, having a super slow satelite positioning.

if your all get the error routing at papago maps. Please give the position.
Example: from Place A to Place B road position

This information will help mapper to check the routing and correct it.

Hi All,

Just to double confirm, does this mean no more update from MFM for Papago x3 x5 x7 on next update?

The last release will be in first week of August 2011.

From September 2011 onwards, the release will be in PPG-X8 format.

which means that our android x5 no more map update for september onward....

dunno where to post this , i hope anyone can repost this to the appropriate dept for further correction;

that day on 28.05.2011 i was in Ipoh trying my way back to Penang...there was one mistake in the voice navigation.

it was telling me to turn right while the yellow arrow was actually pointing to turn left...
i dont know which lane to take but i was too late when i took to the right before noticing the signboard stating the highway back to penang was actually to the left.


the first attempt to turn into the highway was also turned out a failure for me...

I have the same problem as well. Good thing I know my direction. This not the only one. PPG keep asking me to keep right and immediately at the junction ask me to turn left at Jalan 24/26, Wangsa Maju/Jalan Setiawangsa junction.

No more updates for X7, X6, X5 and X3 after sept 2011 unless you switch to X8. Well, looks like all the gps companies are desperate for money for the remaining of this year.

Heard Google nav is coming up with cache maps for offline navigation coming the next 2 months. If true by then, all these gps companies will loss revenue very fast as everyone go for the free google nav.

For me, now I can find my destination using my latest android google maps using wifi at home before I depart on my journey.

baru tepon service centre.. no more update X8 for R5800 and they can't confirm in future but already announce to discontinued map for x3 x5 x6 r7 by 31 ogos

asian strategy marketing... ask consumer buy new model dan yang lama boleh simpan jadi tukun..
asked consumer to prepare for next two month there no map update for all version except X8 but they don't yet prepare software for upgrading old pnd..
and X8 map still in BETA???
the statement simply ask us to upgrade but they dont have..and another
we will face new issue since last year with map issue (any brand other than garmin and papago beside cap ayam)

anyway, i have original OEM papago X5 buy from m3asia dealer.
not call service centre yet to confrim about "able or not" to upgradable to X8
if its can not.. then i agree with bro Purpleray and would throw the original sdcard to their head ( but sdcard taped with some brick maybe )

after independent day, mfm would not independent anymore

after this, would to see .. is X8 more better & speed compared to previous version?
I hope there is no problem as before.. when bro antyong retired & workload handed to us (our mapper)
too many complain about new beta map and too many invective addressed to m3asia customer service before this.

fortunately our new chief bro Sunn can handle it..
