Hello, I'm newbie here.

I'm using WayWay Q5033 and have not update the map since I bought it. Now I wanted to update it to the latest map version.

I'm using MacBook Pro and the Mac doesn't seems to be able to detect the device when I connect it with USB cable. Is there any other way for me to move the map into the device?

Recently I'd download and put the folder PAPAGO in \device\NAVIGATION\MAPS\PAPAGO but its doesnt appear in map, and the map version is still saying 7-3-13 despite i downloaded latest 2015 one.

Kindly go to "Settings" in your WayWay Q5033 and choose "USB setting". Please select "Mass Storage" so that your computer can detect the drive...

What is your Papago version...if the version is X8.5 ...unrar map & copy into sd card\mobilenavigator\maps folder...

How do I update this map to my Papago device?
Watch the YouTube video by m3asia

1. Download the map from one of the links above.
2. Extract the files in the folder to your PC/Laptop. (Typical folder name: MFM-PPG-X8.5-X9-yymmdd)
3. Switch on your PND and connect your navigational device to your PC/Laptop by using a USB cable. A new external drive should be detected on your computer. (If the device is not detected the first time, you may need to disconnect, then reconnect the USB cable.)
4. Copy the entire folder you extracted in your PC to the Maps folder in the external drive.
5. Disconnect your device from the PC/Laptop and restart your unit.
6. The map should be updated now. Go to Advance Settings > Maps Switch to ensure that the map is updated.
