Hi i12cu,

Galactio V8 should work as we have version of Galactio running on in-dash. However as the hardware distributor often offers it as a package with the hardware that he is offering, it will depend if our distributor supports it in your location. May I know your location so I can check for you?

Interested in this software and map but mine is a in-dash Chinese unit running on Win CE 6 800x480 com3 baud 9600.
Would Galactio v8 work?

Driving in Singapore, but M'sia maps would be bonus.

Hi DHME,

Yes you can update the software without the cable but you have to plug in the memory card into a card reader and run the updater. The updater will detect the software path and perform the update for you.

I have a sensonic n520 running galactio v8.5... , is there a way to update the software to v8.8 without the use a cable? as i have lost the cable. Is it possible to update it via the memory card?

Hi nnavin76,

In earlier version before 8.8.8, you can access the dashboard mode through
Navigation screen->options, then choose the dashboard mode from the options

Hi alex8866,

We regret the delay in getting back to you. It might be an issue where the wrong version of the map is loaded into the earlier software. From the download page, you will need to select the software version that you have and it should update correctly.

I've downloaded the Galactio V8.8 from Galactio Website and re install the software all over again.
Following to update the maps together. Finally, the devices is working fine again.[/quote]

I would like to know how to extract Galaxio Tracks & Waypoints for contribution to MFM ?

I am using sensonic gps n580x, which I just bought. Bundled with Galactio V8.8.0 and try to update it to Galactio V8.8.8. After download the package and try to tun it," Invalid Update Package" pop out. Try few times before able to went through the process. Unfortunately, the NavIQ files "can't be performed" during the installation. GPS not working, just blank and not load out due to incomplete update.

I have checked Drive G: for the gps unit, all bundled files from factory have gone and replaced with new incomplete files.....Kind of frustrating right now


Help me Please......

1. redownload the package again?
2. send the unit out for services? I much prefer the no.1

Thanks for your feedback, we are working with MFM guys currently to see how we can extract the track from contributors using Galactio into the required MFM format.

May i know why after i update the thailand map,n when i on my gps,n i choose thailand map,it shows me that database could no be loaded.This scenario never happen before i update the map.
