I want to upgrade my Holux 62e with Papago to Galactio. Any competitive upgrade pricing? Where can I get it in Klang Valley in Malaysia?

Hi!

I had updated to v8.7 during the Sitex 2011.

I'm having problems with software:-

1. Hangs when out of the tunnel (KPE tunnel)
2. Hangs in the middle of navigation.
3. Application error pops out during navigation.
4. When coming out from sheltered carpark satelites locks took very long and sometimes never and hangs

I've just updated to version 8.7.03 in my Holux 6210 and the voice navigation with TTS voice becomes inaudible and stutters. Its quite annoying. Sometimes during the startup, it freezes. I did not had this problem with the previous edition.

Anyone experiencing the same issue? Is there any fix to this. Thanks.

I experience the freeze/hang too on my 6210 but as for the voice navigation, I didn't turn on for TTS, so didn't experience it.

Worse of all, during navigation it freezes/hang too!! ](*,) also encounter application error popup too!!

Just imagine while driving and the above happens... :frus:

I had re-install the software via the downloads but no avail, the problem still exists!!

Moreover, the navigation route is also not good as it takes on the longer route regardless which mode(shorter, faster route) u choose.

The same exact thing happens to me. I'm thinkinking of going to Eastgear to check if they have a fix for it. My guess is the software still has bugs. Thanks

i'm experiencing random freeze/hang on my 62E as well.
Have to reset the device to recover.

routing and performance is very slow

I've since switched back to papago v7 and forgo the TMC, but too bad mfm will stop updating this version.

is eastgear going to provide an update to 8.5 for papago?

Hi i12cu,

Galactio V8 should work as we have version of Galactio running on in-dash. However as the hardware distributor often offers it as a package with the hardware that he is offering, it will depend if our distributor supports it in your location. May I know your location so I can check for you?

Regards
Galactio Support

Would Galactio v8 work?
