I found the kuantan update track---- Lorong Pandan Makmur 3,4 & 5 , Lorong Pandan Damai 17,18 & 19. Kindly find the attaced file for the new track

I think I know why the roads were traced incorrectly by the mapper, and therefore needed correction. You had submitted your trip log (not 1-second track log) which you made during your tracking activity. I have a feeling you were using (Routing Preference) Faster Time or Shorter Distance and NOT Off Road. That could bve the reason why your new tracks occasionally 'jumps' to existing roads. Switch to Off-Road the next time you track...

Some of the nuvi models can do do 1-second track logs. Read here: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3166

OIC . You're right , my nuvi is using (Routing Preference) Faster Time. Now i know what to do . Your guys are doing great Thank you for giving me the idea to tracking the new track.

I had follow the step to activate the 1sec track logs and start recording the track logs. But, it look like not a 1sec track log after i transfer it from my nuvi 205w to the mapsource. WHY??? Pls refer to attached files that i make for testing.

You used the 'easter egg' method didn't you? This is the down-up-up-down sequence on the 'Where Am I' screen. I've seen your file... strange isn't it? If you look carefully at the 1s leg time, they all occure at bends, ie when the rate of change in direction is high, otherwise, on straight paths, the leg time is significantly longer... just like the blue trip log. Now that you've used 'Off Road' you can see where actually you went.

Did you actually get screen 2 with the 'Start Playback' / 'Start Recording' option? If you didn't then you did not perform the down-up-up-down ritual correctly... hence, the nuvi didn't do 1 second recording. If it did, then a translucent STOP button would appear on your navigation page too.

I did get the screen 2 with the 'Start Playback' / 'Start Recording' option and also saw the STOP button on the screen. Is that any step i miss out , or, my current unit sofware is not compatible with 1sec track logs

I've read this forum http://malfreemaps.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1616, and i've download this file >>>> Nuvi 2x5W HWID = 0827 (File Size 9369321 bytes; Logs storage internal & SD card). Before i try to using this path to my nuvi 205w, i just want to confirm is this PATH is work and compatible with my nuvi 205w. I wonder if i using this path to my nuvi , it will may permanently damage my GPS.

My current Nuvi model : 205w
sofware version : 6.00
GPS SW version : 3.70b


I'm looking for your guy's help
