Care to share how to do it? I'm using 250W but my track log points are never every 1sec, sometimes one point to another separated by more than 20 seconds, regardless speed of travel. I noticed yours is every 1sec.

BTW, Machang is my home town, though earn my honest living in KL for some years now!

no problem to share with u..well actually i'm not sure 100%..after modified my nuvi 200w with hidden tracklog function, it's always recorded tracklog with 1 second

maybe u can try like this :

1. click on 'Start Playback' and click on any of your previous recorded tracklog.
2.U can see Hour tab near Back tab---->click until u find "Sec" and then press back button until 'Logging Control' appear on sreen...
3.Click 'Start Recording'

this is for nuvi 200w but don't know other model of nuvi maybe it help

Thanks for reply. I'm not able to find the 'start playback' function on my nuvi neither can I find any reference to it in the owner's manual for nuvi 200 series. It could be I'm using US version, not sure.

I'm not sure if your nuvi 250W has the Logging Control function or not, but there are some disscussion here viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1151

Thanks for the link. My nuvi has the trip log feature available, but I have no control over how frequent track points are captured, except either to show it on the screen or not and whether to reset the trip log, like at the start of a journey you might want to reset the trip log.

But I have no problem viewing the track log on Mapsource, it is just that the time between track points can be as much as 30secs.
