See http://gpsmaps.wikia.com/wiki/File_Extension_.MP ...
In GPS mapping area, file extension .MP is usually Map Polish format source file used for input to cGPSMapper compiler for Garmin compatible GPS receivers.

Hope bro chinwy doesn't mind I add to this.

Here is track from Kuantan airport to Gebeng which had opened last year where it is double lane for each directions. I tried to drive on the most left side of the road. There is divider in the center. Will try to get the U-turns next time or other members pls feel free to help.

ChinWY, I did overlay and I must say I am still a novice in this since I just got my GPSMapEdit license only. Perhaps, we let bro Sunn comments. I attached the printscreen of your file overlaying on the software. :-k

Tks for the shapshot. It must be something to do with my computer. I did the mp afte the GG and was unable to download into MSM due to problems with my landline. That was in Malaysia.

I thought it was suppose to be OK then and posted it here. Looked at it yesterday when I wanted to consolidate all my old tracks and WAAH the MP file I downloded is all over!! Like snap to Grid was switched on!

Tks anyway. Have decided to get the software.

Bro Ko, Bro Chinwy,

I don't see any problem in the printscreen. Looks ok.

So congratulation in getting the full licence of GPSMapedit. Rules - make sure 'SNAP TO GRID' is unchecked & in Lat/Lon in Hddd.ddddd format.

Always make a habit to check.

Me, I have learnt it the hard way.

Regards
