hi , i`m new here , quite confuse to understand about poi.

how the updated poi can be include into my maps ( garmin / papago) so i can update my map with latest update. can somebody give an explanation to me. thanks.

Hi bro zdie81, I am a Garmin user so can only assist in this.

POI is abbreviated term for Point of Interest. This can be your home, your friend's home, your office, your favorite makan place etc....

On Nuvi, you can touch the screen and save the POI into Nuvi.

Or you can use Garmin Mapsource on your PC/Lappy to create POI and transfer this to your Garmin Navigational device.

Please go to our Library thread for instructions as how to obtain Mapsource and use it.
