Routing from Tun Razak to E27 W always take the smart tunnel without any prompt.
In my opinion it shouldn't take this tunnel as a normal route since there is no sat reception underground.
If staying on the highway as I do most of the time, all the routing prompts are as if you where underground and do not match the reality because no recalculation is made.
I noticed this from 091123

Bro, the purpose of GPS map is to route the user using the most efficient or fastest road. Smart tunnel is the fastest road from East-West link to Jalan Tun Razak/Jalan Sultan Ismail (for those who don't mind paying toll)

We have to accept the current limitation of GPS technology. But it does not make sense to use an alternative where there is usually traffic jam because of the limitation you mentioned :)

GPS navigation is only a guide. If you do not follow the recommended road, Garmin or Papago will recalculate for you :)

Hi antyong

You're absolutely right but in that case there is no prompt to say "stay left and take the smart tunnel entrance" hence you keep driving on tun razak and the gps makes no recalculation since the 2 roads are close and when arriving to the end of the tunnel the prompt is as if you were under the ground.
So the correction that should be made is to announce you have to take the tunnel.

By the way i'm preparing a lot of tracks in the parks around KL to improve or correct the ones on the map. But it takes a lot of time hiking these trails.
I'd like you to do me a favor sending me a typ files so that I can see better the existing trails preparing my hikes.
I'm not able to do that and I've tried a few ready made ones to display non asphalted roads in green and trails in red but it works with topo france.
I can send you the modified typ I used because on MFM the roads color and railways seem great to me at least, very similar to good paper maps.

Thank you for your help

Michel

This is what I see

This is original topo france

This is with modified typ and having something similar would be a great help to me
