I plotted a course from the KL Sentral Drop/Pickup Zone (N3 08.022 E101 41.223) to National Museum. The preferences set in MapSource were (and still are) as displayed in the attachment (preferences.jpg).
The course plotted was a straight line (see the magenta line in the attachment clipboard02.jpg).
But when I moved the starting point slightly away from the KL Sentral Drop/Pickup Zone and start the route from there, I got a proper routing (see the blue line in the attachment clipboard02.jpg).
I thought it was a mistake at my end, but I tried starting the route again from KL Sentral Drop/Pickup Zone to various destinations and reverse the routes as well - same results; all the routes were straight lines. But if I moved the position slightly away, I got normal proper routes.
Is there any problem with this particular POI that causes MapSource to work out straight lines? Perhaps other users can try to replicate the problem and pose their comments as well? I am using the latest version of MapSource for Windows (ver. 6.15.6) with MFM 1.69.

cwyap,
Yes it might be the POI been placed too in. I have moved the POI to the actual entrance to the musuem.
I tested the routing in the source file but couldn't get what you have got. But in mapsource its a straight line.
Lets see if it will be the same in the next maps release.

Hii cheang55,
You must be new here. Anyway Welcome to MfM.
You've got to provide the coordinates of the location, to enable our mappers to pinpoint the place and amend or correct it.
There may be 2 or 3 Taman Zooview in Asia.
Regards

Dear bro Sunn,
Any possibility the problem is due to KL Sentral Drop/Pickup Zone POI is too close with To Monorail pedestrian trail?

No ahmadnizam, the trail is not routable so it is not the fault.

Re: F-KLS Feedback v4
Sunn,
I think Ahmadnizam hits it right on the nail - the problem, I noticed, arises when KL Sentral Pick-Up/Drop Off Zone is either the starting point or ending point. It doesn't matter where I choose the other point to be.
Eg. I choose to begin from Jln Bkt Maluri 1 & end it @ KL Sentral Pick-Up/Drop Off Zone - I still get a straight line. Another time, I choose the road Jln Tun Sambanthan (N3 08.178 E101 41.441) just after the YMCA Brickfields traffic light and the result is the same - 1 straight line.
Maybe you can move the KL Sentral Pick-Up/Drop Off Zone slightly off the Monorail track? That may be a possible solution.
Cheers & thanks for the prompt actions.

Re: F-KLS Feedback v4
cwyap,
It might true to be that the "To Monorail Trail" is affecting the routing.
Have moved the "KL Sentral Drop/Pickup Zone" abit further and also shortened the "To Monorail Trail". In actual, the trail doesn't cut across Jalan Stesen Sentral 3 & Jalan Stesen Sentral.
Let's recheck in the next release.
