Dear all

Here is a really newbie suggestion (I searched and searched but cant find it)

I would really like to request a sticky thread on step by step explanation on
" How do I extract MFM maps for Garmin Mobile"
For noobs like me...I get confused during the map extraction on what options to choose..eg.. (mapsource, custom POI , road POI, etc) until the final gmapsupp.img is created for Garmin...

Sorry if this was posted somewhere but just cant seem to find this.

I think we need to organize abit on the forum! Like the Feedback and POI threads. Example: Open a new Feedback and POI threads everytime there is a map update. (Open F-KLS Feedback-MFM1.23, and then close the F-KLS Feedback-MFM1.22)
Ofcos this is only can be done by the admin or moderator, not done by normal user.

So that the feedback page won't over flow, it is also will help the mappers easy.

Let's hear what others have to say...

I have no problem.. Idea..
It can start from us as a contributor on how we post it..
We can start a new post under KL feedback - 48 week 2008 or 23-29 Nov

I agree that we need to organise a bit. Maybe for each reagion/state we can have Feedback, POI and Tracks, and categorise them by Week Number.

That's my 2 sen.

Glad to see Antyong's newbies directory sticky at "Newbies lounge".
Was thinking may be can combine with "About Malfreemaps" and become a Must Read for FirstTimer
It sure helps to tidy the forum before threads go all over the places.

Things like forum etiquette , Guides to other sections, FAQs can be included as well.IMHO
