Why I got the different details?
Seems level 1 have more POI compare to level 0. In the PDA, i not seeing the POI in like in the level 1.

I dont get the POI in Garmin Mobile XT

Hope you understand what i trying to say.

I believe the setting is done that way so the mapper can edit the data at each level.

As for for GMXT map display, go to your setting, then select map, then select map detail, select most...then try again if you can see the poi in your GMXT.

Cheers

I try with change to Most detail in GMXT, i still not able to see the POI.
OK. My question is not using gpsmapedit or mapsource.
My question is i can view all these POI in using MSM. But why i couldn't see these POI in MFM. In fact, when I view it on PC (using gpsmapedit), the POI is there, it just not able to show.

Am I the only one experienced this?

I did change to small label for POI.

The problem is the map did show the POI, but it label Office Building (a general term) in stead of the exact building name (Lam Hong, Wisma). The POI is more specific in the MSM that I used previously.

Sorry If I say anything wrong. But I am not comparing MFM or MSM over here. I just wonder why it is happening, that those POI are changed to general term. Probably other people do not notice that, but I did because it is happening in the POI around my house.

Let me install mapsourse and check if it still show the general term. I'll be back.

Bro Keong,
You can point the Lam Hong, Wisma in GMXT, is it showed Office Building?

Thanks alot.

I understand what you mean. I have a dilemma here. If I put proper labels on those POIs, there will be duplicate POI labels when we view on Mapsource. If I leave out the labels, we are not able to view the POI label on our GPS device/software.

MFM members, which do you prefer?
A. Duplicate labels on Mapsource but full POI label on GPS?

OR

B. Proper label on Mapsource but POI merely display "school" or "mosque" on GPS?

"A" for me as the computer screen is big enough. Proper name in GPS device is important when we are driving
