Garmin is an international company whose core competency is Navigation hardware. They have been in the business for years ... GooZee is probably a China made GPS product and map support is questionable.
Important thing in buying a GPS is support and map updates.

In a way, must be trying to imitate Garmin, note the similar vowel sounds of oo / u and ee / i.

Re: GooZEE?
I saw the actual model when I went to PC fair last week. The outlook look like same as Nuvi but its look more square. The connection point is at the left hand side of the device not like Nuvi is at the back. The main menu is just look like same as Nuvi with the Icon "Where to go?" and "Map" and two small icon are at the bottom of the device. The device also support SD/micro SD card.
According to the sales person, the device is made in Taiwan, same as Garmin and used the similar software like Garmin. After testing the device, realise that the menu have the mixture of Nuvi 200 and 205. Some sub-menu look like Nuvi 200 and some look like 205. BTW, the price is much more cheaper than Garmin.

Re: GooZEE?
to be frank the web site is very hard to view as the background color and the text color is the same also the content of the web from my point of view is copied from garmin web site too...which i really have doubt on the product itself whether on quality as well as the after sales support... for me seriously i wont get it for myself nor recommend to my friends.

I visited the website. And I think, they designed it in one day.

Goozee = Chicken Brand / Cap Ayam (in Eskimo language)

Re: Garmin Devices - General Discussion
I saw the Goozee GPS yesterday at PC Fair @ KLcc, but don't have to time to test it. Cheap: RM499, using SiRF chipset too.. Impressive.. I am not sure, why Garmin gave the permission to 'reproduce' Garmin nuvi clone, even though, there are peoples think "Garmin software is the WORST"? Isn't it better to imitate others such as Navigon, TomTom, iGo, Magellan and Dash (oops! they are already out of GPS businesses already). Now there are more competitions in Malaysia.. Hope Garmin vendors can reduce their prices, to make it more attractive.
Which want you perfer, Gozee X300@RM499, or Garmin nuvi 205@699 ...
