GPS Apps on Android

I just wrote to M3Shoppe and they have confirmed that the X5 Mobile Version can be run on the XTC Desire with Android 2.1. Any Desire owners have used this X5 version successfully with MFM?

I was at the PC Fair 6-8/8/2010, and they had Android version for sale supporting up to 2.1. The price was RM119. They also claimed to have the latest versions from malfreemaps using a code. Anyone know about this?

Hi,

I have tried to download the program and the map from the site, but seem like the map is only for Malaysia. It is using Malfreemaps.com 100415, even thought the program indicated it is for SG & MY.

do i miss something? where can i get the Singapore map? thanks.

but when i unzip the files, inside the NaviSEA/Maps, i only see MALAYSIA directory, there is no SINGAPORE map there. is there supposed to have it there? thanks.

The Sale team of Papago should be shot to name it for Malaysia only..
Just install it ..fire up the app...you will be able to browse Singapore map..
Postal code searching is very very fast..10 or 100x faster than Garmin..all search pop out within a sec on my Nexus One.
The junction view/lane assist is working fine..
Very brief in term of features however the map is super rich in contents..POI rock!!!
I am now settled with this app ...English interface(no longer lost ), address searching is working OK .I have tried getting address in KL, Ipoh,Kampar..the trick is spell the road name, follow by state..the search will be narrowed down

Not perfect but usable..waiting for the new papago map...

Are you on Android 2.1 or 2.2? It seems to work on 2.2 but the navi voice is contaminated with strange "clapping" noises.

No more Nexus one on Android 2.1..hahahaha.. Nexus One is on froyo ,android 2.2.
Yap the English voice guidance is screwed up. I am switching it to Cantonese....no clapping noise on Cantonese.
