Re: Custom POI
You may create a new folder under folder Garmin, named it "POI", Garmin/POI.
For mobile XT, you can only use *.wav format *.gpi file.
MP3 format cannot be played in Mobile XT.

Re: Custom POI
When I download the weekly map...it appears in my nuvi maps info as 3 files...1 is the mfm and the other 2 are POI files. If I want to add in these custom POI, do i just put it in the same folder as the map? Or do I somehow need to incorporate it into the mfm file which is in .gdb?

actually mfm garmin map contain custom poi inside gmapsupp.img map, so nood need custom poi.
but i you want to added your self POI or other custom POI then you can store *.gpi into POI folder in /garmin/poi.
and if you want to added permanently of your POI as public POI then you can send your *.gdb poi to forum
someone would compile this into map.
