I got try to exclude polygone but it not work at all. I generate the gmapsupp.img with MFM-Garmin 110328, it work great with the polygons. But start on the April, all the map that I generate using the same way that i generate MFM-Garmin 110328, all the polygons are gone. Just like wat u can see it now on the pictures. Just wonder about tis problem. And when i try to exclude polygone, the map not readable at all for my nuvi 3790t. Before April, all the map work great with the same way of how i generate the map. Please Help.

Bro wilsonlee03, when you exclude polygons, it is as what it means ... NO POLYGONS ! Please elaborate what you mean when the "map not readable at all for my nuvi 3790t" :-?

I had generated the map and tested on my 3790T. It has no polygons, but it reads the maps. Why this old version has polygons and later releases has no polygon is already explained by bro ongcc post here viewtopic.php?p=147714#p147714 3790 behaves differently from the older series thus some compromises has to be made.

If you want the polygons, use the slighter older MFM-Garmin 110328 ... it is reasonably updated enough for you to navigate in Malaysia - Singapore ... you do not need to update on every release ..... :-'

The latest mfm version that you can use is v110404.

The mappers need time to sort out this issue. I am sure, very soon there will be another parameter when generating the map specially for the 2xxx and 3xxx so that the their device will display polygons and at the same time, a lighter version for the older nuvis.
Contribute exclusively to MFM. MSM don't get it !

Anyone with 3790 facing this problem while nagivating to a set destination. Announcements regarding approaching junction or speed limit is not complete. On my unit, the last word or syllable of the sentence spoken is somehow shorterned or truncated - that meas you do not hear the whole word spoken. For example, for speed limit the announcemt will say ".....limit is 90 kilometers an hour" The last word "hour" is not spoken properly - it somehow sounds garbled. Could it be that I have upgraded to the latest Malsingmaps Malaysia/Singapore/Brunei NT2011.10 ? Would like to hear from owners of localised Nuvi 3790.

You have to find out which map is causing the problem or is this happening with all maps ? You should have at least 3 maps loaded inside ie.. the preloaded Garmin NavTeq NT, the MSM NT and the MFM. Disable all but one and do simulation and see the results ...

I have used all 3 maps seperately and have not experienced the problem ... both Garmin NavTeq and MSM on 2011.10 and MFM on 110328 ... :-'

I have disabled other maps and using the MFM map. The voice problem is happening on the MFM map. Not sure about the other two maps though. BTW, what MSM map hae you got loaded in your 3790 ? The latest one ? I am beginning to suspect that this is happening after I updated my MSM map

As stated in my earlier post :

Garmin NavTeq 2011.10
MSM 2011.10
MFM 110328

Suggest you delete and reload MSM 2011.10 since you suspect it or there could be corruption in the voice files ...

Did you backup the files ? If so, just load the old voice files into the /voice directory

Unfortunately, I was stupid enoough not to have made a backup of the original files in my Nuvi 3790 ](*,)

I have tried to re-install the latest MSM map but it is still the same. No matter what map I select to use, the last word seems to be truncated. So far I have experienced 2 types of voice file that display this peculiarity the speed limit one that ends with ".......limit is xx kilometers an hour" where the "hour" gets cut off. The other one is when I reach certain junction and the last words either gets chopped off or sounds garbled.
