As a newbie, it would be beneficial if you should at least make an effort to scan through the forum for topics related to your device.
In your case there is already a thread title related to your device.

I have moved your post to this thread. Your answer can be found here

Hi guys,

Bought 2465 recently. Have not had the chance to fiddle with it just yet. Used it as is and MSM sucks! Been using MFM in the 250 and MFM wins hands down! :D

Just love MFM and was really disappointed with MSM...

Ok to the core issue...

How do I transfer my "Favourites" from 250 to 2465...? :-k :ko:

Got too many of those and cannot afford to lose it... To go to each place to mark would be too time consuming and costly.

Would appreciate assistance from the sifus...

Thanks!

Use Garmin Mapsource to transfer your favorites.

Plug in your 250, transfer -Receiver from Device.

Remove 250

Plug in your 2465, transfer - Send to Device

Remember to save to Hard-Disk which will be a form of backup in case your device has problem.

Can someone confirm if the 2465 has the feature to turn off the autozoom? I was told by Garmin Taiwan that this unit has such a feature. My 3790 autozoom is driving me nuts with the autozooming although the unit is really quite nice. The other thing is that the "breadcrumbs" (trip log tracks) will always disappear after while. I wonder why other users never complain or notice the disappearing trip log tracks.

Checked out the 2465 today at Allbright. The unit has the feature to turn off the autozoom. So far, this is the only unit besides the Nuvi 5000 that can turn off the autozoom. Wish Garmin can extend this feature to other Nuvis.

Garmin's naming convention sucks! Why is it that, overseas, the 2460 is 5" while here, the 2465 is only 4.3"? I hope they bring in the 5 incher; 4.3 is not much diff in size from the newer smartphones

5" nor 4.3" does not mean anything without MFM Garmin Maps. so please contribute.

I think this model has dual orientation display, so a 4.3" screen in portrait orientation can see more roads ahead than a 5" screen without dual orientation display.
Contribute exclusively to MFM. MSM don't get it !
