As a newbie, please go to our download site, and download our Garmin map installer map file. Generate the map file gmapsupp.IMF and copy this into the SD card/Garmin directory.

Please read through the topics in the newbie lounge to help you.
For 1460, you need to copy gmapsupp.img into 'map' folder. Do not put it in 'garmin'. Best to create a folder called map in a micro SD card and copy the file into that folder.
Suggest too you keep the coloured polygons to a minimum. The 1460 has a lot of lag so better to keep things simple.
