Pop-up/pop-under

Postby kb27 » Tue Aug 23, 2011 5:25 pm

Am I the only one getting hit with pop-up/ pop-under while browsing MFM with Google Chrome ?
I didn't get this with Firefox.

These popping is quite irritating as it attempts to fill up the whole screen. :(

I don't mind pop-up. But doesn't mean I accept to view porn.

Recently have receive pop-up for nude scan.

Admin please check this out, I do not want to view the forum with my children and all this coming out.

Thank you.

If you are using Firefox as your internet browser, you can install the AdBlock extension. Installation and set-up pretty straight forward and more on auto-pilot. Most porn sites are blacklisted. So when it comes to annoying pornographic pop-ups, you won't see these. You can find more info here - http://adblockplus.org/en/.

Opera browser has a built-in block option but you have to "teach" it what to block.

IE - not my cup of tea, I'm afraid.

my point of view, is MFM allowed for Porn Pop-up? If is a new member, and they visit the website and found that pop-up. How they will think about our forum???

The ads are getting very intrusive and RM4 per SMS "quiz" ads are going a bit too far
