Waypoints Missing

Postby mohicans » Mon Jan 05, 2009 5:45 pm

Recently I have had this new problem with my 60csx..Plotting of waypoints in Langkawi is really fun..as I have plotted lots of it..However the moment I transferred the Southern Thai maps..when I was in Krabi,Thailand..all the waypoints plotted dissapeared!!Wel I thought the moment i come back I could transfer it via mapsource and eventually may retrieved all of it.
I was wrong..only Thai waypoints I plotted is stil in the unit and the Langkawi waypoints were officially gone!!!!
What seems to be the problem guys??? :-k ..any idea to this mystery issue?? :-k Its quite risky to swap maps when you are on the move I guess?

Nuvi 200 with US version and downgrade to v3.40, that has 1sec tracking capability, 1sec tracking will give a nice track

Others nuvi can't have 1 sec track.

Thanks for the info.

Track log feature by Nuvi 205 (blue trail behind ur veh icon) do u consider that as track log feature. does that provide 1 sec track log ?

Nuvi 760 and other nuvi series that have track log feature are they similar to nuvi 205 ?

I believe that they are the same, the track log feature in newest nuvi doesn't carry 1sec track. same goes to my 255W Taiwan version, it doesn't carry 1sec track. Only nuvi 200 US version with 3.40 can do it.

Alternative get a Garmin 60CSX handheld model. good for tracking and also Satellite accuracy is very good thus produce much accurate tracking.

Cheers!

None. Nuvi can only do Trip Log which is crap.

You want track log, get a handheld, any handheld even a eTrex can do a better job than any Nuvi.
